The company handles all the logistics, like round-trip transportation, attire rentals, dog walking, and everything else on your wedding ceremony.

The Sharks were amazed by the incredible business idea. However, some of them found the business to be non-investable and non-scalable.

It’s been a few months since the episode aired, and we have an update on what happened to FairyTail Pet Care after Shark Tank.

FairyTail got a deal on Shark Tank 15 from Barbara Cocoran. Shark Tank gave massive exposure to the audience.

They’ve got coverage from well-known media outlets like The Washington Post, The New York Times, Tampa Bay Times, etc.

FairyTail Pet Care is certified by PetTech First Aid & CPR and is authorized by Pet Sitters Associates.

FairyTail dog babysitting business is still operational. Their services are available in four locations: Tampa Bay, Florida; Las Vegas, Nevada; West Palm Beach, Florida; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Before the special day, the professionals set up a meet-and-greet with the pets to learn more about their likes and needs.

They handle the entire logistics, from round-trip transportation, outfit rentals, dog walking, or anything else to keep your pet happy.

Apart from logistics, FairyTail adds a sprinkle of style to the pet’s appearance with specially crafted wedding bandanas and uniquely created floral arrangements that complement the wedding’s theme.

FairyTail Pet Care also captures precious moments, creating videos that display the ceremony according to the pet’s perspective.

These videos add emotion to the wedding day footage by capturing candid, touching moments.

Their services require a minimum of three hours, starting at $600 for one dog. After that, each extra hour costs $100.

In 2022, the founders franchised the brand. So that people all over the world could include their dogs in their wedding events.

Additionally, FairyTail donates to local animal shelters and volunteers a lot of time to find homes for rescued animals. They’ve raised over $20,000 for local shelters.

Ilana Karcinski and Kelly Nova pitched their company FairyTail Pet Care and demanded $75,000 in exchange for 10% equity.

The founders presented their brand along with a few adorable dogs. They explained how they started the nation’s first wedding pet care company.

In 2022, FairyTail shifted its business to the franchise model. For one territory, the franchise fee is $12,500, and they earn 9% royalties of gross sales from the franchises.

The Sharks totally loved the duo’s brilliant idea.

Robert Herjavec wanted to know about the franchise’s success.

Kelly informed that in 2022, they sold 14 territories, which are 4 locations.

In the previous year, they had sales worth $123,000 with a margin of about 70%.

Also, they earned $80k from franchises combined, and their top-performing franchise earns about $2200 a month.

Kevin O’Leary asked how they acquire customers.

The ladies utilize their vast social media following for advertising. They blew up on TikTok because weddings and dogs are “content gold.”

Although he’d love to include his dog at his wedding, Robert considered the business not investable, so he’s out.

Lori Greiner was the first Shark to decide not to make any offer because she thought it was not scalable.

Mark Cuban liked the idea but couldn’t see the business as scalable. He goes out next.

Ilana then pointed out their company’s mission of helping shelter animals.

They’re also very selective while choosing franchises to ensure their stability.

Barbara Corcoran liked their strategy and offered $75,000 for 25% equity in FairyTail Pet Care.

Kevin was also interested and offered $75,000 for 33.3% equity.

Ilana and Kelly countered Barabara to reduce the equity to 15%, but she declined. Then, the ladies again countered Barbara for 20% equity.

Barbara disagreed; instead, she offered $75,000 for 22% equity, which the duo accepted.

Eventually, FairyTail co-founders Ilana and Kelly left the tank with a great deal from Barbara Corcoran.
